A result of the East Tennessee Rare Plant Meeting in August 2023, the idea was born to explore the possibility of developing a system that would pull in real-time real estate sale information such that whenever a property that the conservation community designates as significant goes up for sale, a designated person, group, or organization will get a notification so that the conservation community can act quickly on acquisition. Such a system would probably require some sort of tool build by an experienced developer. This project is still in an exploratory stage and any insight, assistance, or ideas are welcomed.
