What we're doing:

Paul Durr, Chris Stoehrel (Cherokee National Forest), and Cooper Breeden surveyed and relocated the population. Tyler Hern from the Erwin National Fish Hatcher collected seeds, which are now stored in Southeastern Grasslands Institute's Conservation Seed Bank. Ultimately, we will propagate a portion of these seeds to augment the existing population.​
